SBTRKT @ 5 days off

Last Wednesday I was at the start of 5 days off (electronic music festival) at Melkweg Amsterdam with artists SBTRKT, The Field, Koreless, Dorian Concept and more. It was awesome! To share a short impression of SBTRKT's masked performance of Right Thing To Do, I made a video:

Source Festival

Last Sunday I went to Source Festival at Vianen, Utrecht. It was a fantastic lazy sunday with sunshine at a little beach by the lake, where we could sail as well from one stage to another. There were the best people and atmosphere and not to forget a great line-up with Moodymann, Bonobo, Kerri Chandler, Robert Hood and my Modeselektor friends with visuals by Pfadfinderei. It was the perfect little holiday!

Modeselektor

And last but not least some special attention for Bonobo, because I loved them live!

5 days off 2011

What a great night last Friday at 5 days off! The line-up was perfect with LCDMF, Crystal Fighters, Goose, The Benelux and The Shoes. Electro as it should be; loud, powerful and just fantastic actually.

Le Corps Mince De Francoise

A bit sad there was just a little audience, but it was kind of personal and certainly a great warming up for...

Crystal Fighters

What a party! Finally, Jesus stood up, the beat became louder and we were surrounded by huge CF-friends who knew the lyrics sometimes even better than the stoned singer. The clothes - 3 jackets - were a bit exaggerated, but yes, that's part of the live experience, so I could definitely recommend Crystal Fighters for all summer festivals.

Goose

But actually with Goose the real die-hard rave party began. With first Synrise and Can't Stop Me Now, both from the latest album, everybody jumped around like idiots. Later on with some oldies as Black Gloves, Bring It On and Low Mode. Great vibe, great electro, great venue.

And even a new beautiful video of Synrise by PUNX STHLM. Pop up your volume and rock & rave. Enjoy!
